Pemaquid Point

First, a parting Boothbay shot...

We spent an afternoon at Pemaquid Point, a lighthouse set about 5 miles from Boothbay Harbor, and a 1 hour drive to get there. The lighthouse and grounds are set about 30 feet above the surf line. With the misty weather we had, as we approached the edge it was like walking toward an abyss. Sitting at the edge, the waves were hypnotic with their rhythm and power.

Bree and Brian moved onto one of the points for some photography.

I sat and watched the surf and marveled at the rock patterns.

We finished out the day with a campfire and S'Mores.

Then, for them it was back to NY and for me it was back to Millinocket.
