Time to Head South

My last day in Bernalillo was spent taking the tram 2 1/2 miles, over 1000 feet above the ground, to the top of Sandia Peak.  The tram is a cable car that holds up to 50 persons.  My guess is it is about 10 by 20 feet.

It is hard to give a sense of scale to the ride.  The best I could do is by a series of photos, each showing the shadow of the Tram on the rock walls we were passing.  Some will be hard to see - just click on the images so you can see the shadow.

From the top....

Goodbye, Sandia Peak.
